#House of wax 2021 movie
So we decided to go down a Rabbithole of finding why this undoubtedly well-directed movie was hated on so much.ġ. We looked at the ratings and both of us were so surprised that we subconsciously seized all efforts to inhale oxygen for a few seconds.Ģ7%! We thought about whether or not we just have a trash taste in movies, or if there's another reason behind the extremely low ratings. So, after watching it, both of us were like "there's no way this movie doesn't have at least an 80% on RottenTomatoes". We both knew that it's a slasher, but a damn fine one at that, and everyone else I know who has watched the movie also agrees that it's a great movie. Conversations like, "I liked the part where the 2 twins land on top of each other, dying in the same way as they were born", "Me too", "Wait, you noticed that too?!".
After watching it, we even talked about it.
We didn't know the rating of this movie at the time.Īfter we finished watching it, both of us were amazed at the movies blatantly obvious 2000s feeling, which both of us love, the on-the-edge-of-your-seat moments, the top-tier production quality and the whole lot of enjoyment we got out of it. Me and one of my good friends were hanging out and we were pretty bored, so we decided to watch a horror movie. I'll add a lot of details because the rating of this movie infuriates me quite a bit.
